a holistic wellness retreat
September 26, 2020
We are so excited to introduce you to our first retreat on the farm, Fire + Flow. We know you’ve been through a lot this year, so we wanted to put together an experience to help you feel refreshed, grounded, and motivated as we prepare for winter.
Using the element of fire, we’re going to balance the mind, body, and soul. Not only will you be surrounded by nature on the farm in the prime of fall, but you’ll be working with a curated group of instructors who will challenge and inspire you. Fire + Flow will light you up from the inside and out, bringing warmth through love and fluid movements for the body, all while helping you get a little twinkle in your eye by the day’s end. Come as you are, bring whatever you need to be purified by the fire and smoke as we travel inside your mind and body.
SPACE IS LIMITED so make sure to reserve your spot. All food and beverage, materials for our workshops, and a notebook are included in our registration fee. We’ve posted a sample schedule below for you to get a taste of our event.

Meet Telsi
Telsi is a Mat and Reformer Pilates instructor, Animal Flow instructor, and Certified Personal Trainer. Her passions include functional fitness, stability training, and aiding in injury rehabilitation through therapeutic pilates. She is proud and excited to bring Animal Flow to you for the Fire + Flow retreat!
Animal Flow is a ground-based movement system that requires only the weight of your own body to perform. The fluid movements within Animal Flow help build a person's strength, mobility, endurance and control. Not only is it a great workout, it is also founded on the idea that movement is meant to be fun and playful. So please, come play with Telsi and learn more about what you are personally capable of!

Meet Lyndele
Lyndele is a certified Level Two reiki practitioner, and a certified yoga teacher through Peterborough Living Yoga (2018) with Pine + Waters Wellness. She is a single mum to a wonderfully crazy 4 year old. You can often find her on the Peterborough stage because she is a theatre kid at heart through and through! Most recently she appeared in Mama Mia, Cats, and Les Miserables. Lyndele is expanding her practice to include chair yoga and postpartum yoga in the near future. She loves adventure hikes with her son, feeding people, music, gardening and quiet mornings in her garden sanctuary.

Meet Nessa
Nessa is an Intuitive Empath and Card Reader. She reads tarot and oracle cards, and uses intuition and her abilities to tap into spirit to deliver messages on any topic you fancy! She is a mom to two spirited kiddos, a trained doula and former photographer. Her spiritual journey started at a time in her life when her marriage ended, business closed, and basically all the things came crashing down. Tarot cards are what pulled her out of some dark times and have introduced her to her gifts. She loves spending time on the farm, walking in nature, and meditating. Nessa is currently training to become a clinical herbalist.

MEET CARLY
Carly is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-200), Holistic Nutritionist (CNP) and owner of Sweet Simple Nutrition. Carly's yoga teachings embody her relaxed nature and encourage students to tune in and explore their bodies. She began practicing yoga in 2011 and has found many benefits over the years both on and off the mat. When she's not teaching yoga you can find Carly up at her family cottage, cooking, or spending time with friends.

MEET ANGIE
Angie is a secondary school Visual Art teacher within the Kawarthas. She has been leading macrame workshops for the past three years with Sticks and Strings Macrame. We are so excited to have Angie walk us through creating our very own macrame plant hanger.
Angie’s workshops begin with basic instruction but participants are encouraged to add any stylistic choices to make their piece unique. Don’t worry if you’re not crafty! Angie is super patient and knows how to deliver calm instructions to get you through the tricky parts all while encouraging your personal style to come through.
